Thank you for your interest in our Siamese and Oriental cats and kittens! Our "babies" are placed in qualifying homes based on an adoption application. References may be requested. These can include your Veterinarian, friends, co-workers and others in the cat fancy - for instance, other breeders you may have acquired a pet from or other cat owners.

Due to the popularity of these breeds, and in order to avoid disappointment, we recommend you make a reservation ahead of your expected adoption date.

This is done either of two ways.

If we have kittens available, and you have chosen one that you like, a deposit of 50% is required to hold that kitten for you.

This deposit is based on assessed value of the individual kitten by the breeder and is intentionally sizeable. This is intended to encourage you to search your heart and ensure you are entirely serious about adopting. It's not fair to the kitten or the breeder to hold a kitten you may change your mind about later on.

If we do not have the kitten or cat of your specifications, you may choose to go on a waiting list for the next available kitten matching your description.

You'll be offered a kitten based on next availability, and your stated preferences. The length of time you may wait is not guaranteed, but adoption is accomplished much more quickly if you're more open to such things as pattern, color and gender.

Often choices of mating pairs are done by the breeder with waiting list specifictions in mind. Therefore deposits are also required for placement on this list. This discourages individuals from sitting on several lists at once with frustrating results for the cats and breeders who planned for those homes.

At no time do we pressure you to place a deposit. If you are simply not ready to adopt, we understand that. However, once placed, a deposit indicates commitment and cannot be refunded due to change of heart.

Please take the time to educate yourself about your chosen breeds, including temperament, habits, gender differences, available colors and patterns and such things as delivery and maintenance costs once you get your kitten home.
