It all began in the rebellious stage of my youth. I vividly remember the day the seeds of a future cattery were sown!
"Bianca"
was as feisty as she was beautiful.
My fate
was sealed. With Marys help, and the use of her
stud males, Typha Barbary and Printer's Blue Gremlin, I began the journey which would
span over many years. Other breeders became friends and a hobby yielded
a lifetime dream come true..."as many cats as I wanted !!"
Direct
contributions to my Siamese pedigrees, in addition to Jim Webster (Wes-Ko)
and Mary Ward (Summit Mews), came from Irma Castle (Samow), Jayne Strunin
(Bayard), Marlene Sheculski (Mareva), and Eileen Reid (Abstract). My
first Supreme "Catkins LaiSee" , Canadas Best Siamese
for 1994/95, was a very exciting achievement in the show ring and a testament to those breeders contributions to the cat fancy.
I have more recently begun supplementing my Siamese and Oriental Shorthair lines with the addition of top European genetics and the beautiful cinnamon varieties being produced are breathtaking. Jan
